Friday, May 2, 2003 *choke die* @_@;; aie.... I just put $650 on my poor Visa... good job I know I can pay it off but GUH x_X;; I dislike that. Actually it was for a -good- cause ^_________^ I got my plane ticket to AX today (YAY). June 30th to July 7th I'm in California (WHOOOO @_@ thank God, anyplace is better than here... it's going to SNOW this weekend. SNOW. IN. MAY... happy? I'm not...) This year I'm not taking Air Canada, AC is about a few dollars away from bankruptcy, and the carrier I took the year before (Canada 3000) went into bankruptcy already. So I took United... and instead of 3 1/2 hours this year to get to Cali, it's going to take mmm EIGHT... e_e; oh well, adventure for me. And no early waking up. I leave at 2pm from Edmonton and leave at almost 4pm from LAX... sleeeeep ^________^ stress @_@; The reason it's an eight hour flight is because there's a 3 hour layover in Denver (are you anywhere near Denver *can't remember what city is on your addy* o_O;? Last second bidding adds 10 minutes to the auction count down T_T;;; thusly frustrates me (high bidder) to no end as slowly more people realize the auction is going on and up the bid @_@; End complaint! I had a perfectly lousy day yesterday o.o; well, everything before noon was lousy. I was quite sick to my stomach and dad and I had to wander around downtown for a while @_@; so, I was sick to my stomach in and around downtown (which was extremely frustrating since I wanted nothing more than to GO HOME T_T; and I'd actually planned my day to take me all over town finding things that I wanted ~_~; didn't happen). Not that I really NEEDED those items ^^;;; spending money is my fort$B!&(Bhowever 9.9; ~_~ not as bad as you tho... OH nonono... you must stop buying little things that end up with a great big BILL @_@;;; - speaking of you, sorry for AIM dieing last night @_@;;; I fought with it for a bid, then gave up and went to sleep ^^;; (I got 9 hours! feel sooo much better now!) >D I want to see scans of your Oishi (OH I wish I could have owned that *envyjelous* ;.; stupid AX... this no-money-spending thing is hard @_@;; there better be some damn good stuff there to make up for my above-average-not-spending behaviour). Well actually that's not true, I AM spending money 9.9; just not vast quantities of it... 900 yen here, 500 yen there, 1500 over that-a-way... yeah ^^;; though I don't spend it too often since cheap DVD's on YJ that I want are sometimes hard to come by! But I -just- won that CCS DVD I was bidding on ^_______^ 820yen.... that brings my total up to 1 Chobits, 3 PoT, 2 Angelic Layer and 1 CCS. The package from Nick will be FULL of happiness @_@; Oh, and I bought Cowboy Bebop vol 4 yesterday - 30dollah! Canadian o_O the US price is 30 ^_______^ I dun good (regular price is 50cdn - Future Shop was having a sale though =3 hehe) And! I finally meandered over to the store and helped myself to a membership at the new fabric store and got myself almost all the fabric I needed for my FudoTrack outfit =3. I think I'll work on the pants today... they seem easier than the daunting hoody. Oh, and I wonder, is the hoody a Kangaroo hoody or a pocket-ed hoody.... hmmm *scratches chin* I'm going with Kangaroo just cause it's way easier ^^; and most hoodies are Kangaroo hoodies when they have pockets in the front like that. The EVIL has corrupted me and I bought a wig I shall use for Kamio XD;;;; I'm going to have so much fun with these costumes... and they'll be comfortable too. Despite the fact the FudoTrack outfit is jogging fleece (standard hoody material) it won't be as hot as some of the layered stuff I've worn. And it will be the most comfortable costume yet ^_^v tanoshimi tanoshimi.... My Fudomine team shirt looks really good.... Heck, it's all 'stuff' - gimme! ... Did you neglect to tell me you left town? Onto the rest of my life. And I will say: that no matter what the language is, I appreciate good music and a good sounding voice... SO, with that, I would like to announce that I will probably NEVER watch "The Canadian Idol" (like American Idol, only so much more ripped off and lame). Auditions for this farce took place outside the front entrance to our store (which is in the mall) and OH MY GOD, I have not heard so much crappily horrible 'I think I'm a Diva and can't sing worth shit' noise in all my life. And it is just that - noise - it's not singing, it's ear-drum-scratching-where's-the-gun!? NOISE T_T;;;. It just re-enforces the fact that I will NEVER EVER sing in front of people e.e; ever. And today was the QUARTER FINALS to select the 'one' person from our city who may be the next Canadian Idol (God someone shoot me...). I mean, what the hell did the noise sound like yesterday and the day before when I was privileged enough to be far far far away from hearing all this gawd awful racket. Enough of that... But after the strain that was put upon my fragile ear drums, I went to see Cowboy Bebop with my bro and one of his friends (this after the long argument I had with my dad on how completely inconsiderate he is e_e;;; I'm havin a rough day here... yee). The Princess Theatre is a very o.O interesting place... it's on Whyte ave which means the theatre has to be AT LEAST 80 years old (obviously refurbished a few times). It's like walking into one of those old fashioned production stage houses... where you watch live action plays - only now it was showing movies (certainly not large enough anymore for any sort of live action play... though I think when the Fringe comes around they do have mini plays going on there). I love Spike, Jet, Ed and Faye's English voices *nods sagely* Speaking of which, I need to get Bebop vol 4... hmmm OH but I did get in the last few days: E's Otherwise 1&2, Haibane Renmei 3 and 13 o_O;;, Full Moon wo Sagashite 1, DNAngel 3, PoT 71(s) and 78 (r), Princess Tutu 4..... and something else I think I forgot.... um... all in all o.O I have a whole lot of stuff to watch, yikes. I like the Full Moon wo Sagashite OP... it's so bouncy @.@;;; But yeah that's it for now, I'm really tired... Tuesday, April 22, 2003 Haven't said anything in many-a-days... I'm so glad you're so happy with your CDs, I'm glad they finally showed up XD I'm glad that you enjoyed half nekid Kaidoh.... bweheheh I'm unhappy that my hockey team lost, though it's not exactly unexpected e.e;;; but I REALLY wanted us to win the series.... but we didn't ;.; *SNIFFU* Now Vancouver better kick some serious ass and Ottawa better keep kicking some serious ass and.... Toronto... well they're a Canadian team e.e best to cheer them on too. Work was BUSY yesterday (Potentially I was going to get a call to come in today, but it never came... *shrug* I don't mind, I have lots of stuff I want to do today :D). My till alone (we had four of them going) did the store budget *SWEATDROPS* go figure... at least my day went by really fast. My arm HURTS... hurts to type e.e;; hurts because I thought it would be spiffy to get a tennis racket and beat a ball against the side of the school ^^;; I completely dorked out there. But it was fun! It's good exercise (and I slept really well cause of it too ^^;;). I started out at St. Bonaventure hitting the ball against the back of the school. I don't know who remembers how Sakuno tried too hard and LAUNCHED the ball into the field behind Ginka... but I lost my first two balls onto the roof >_<;; band new pretty balls too. I couldn't find anyway to climb up onto the roof (I use to climb up there 9.9; when I was a wee lass) so I sulked back home, grabbed my third and went over to J.D. Bracco (which is right next door to St. Bon) and discovered a) a much better playing surface b) a wall three times as high :D - considering it was 10pm - it was sorta dark, but the four big flood lights were nice. Though, I left not long after the basketball player showed up... he didn't bother me, but when the other dude showed up to keep him 'company' - my "o_ô this looks like a drug deal" brain wave took over and I went home ^^;; So that was my evening ^^; Vancouver plays their game 7 tonight, I hope they win *cheercheerhopepray* *nuzzles up to you* I just want ooone ED cel (though I don't expect it anytime soon XD I will want it forever and always *giggles madly*). That Utako cel is pretty too 9.9 6.6 9.9 *shameless* Speaking of cels - I GOT A PACKAGE YESTERDAY (whee!) I so didn't expect cels XD and they're the prettiest things - oh my God I can't believe I got one half of the -entire- sequence from one of my ULTIMATE Forte wishlist cels... -with- the matching background no less *SQUEE* @.@ happy. I need to sell a few things - because I have this spending money addiction (it's not like I buy big ticket items either e.e;; just lots of wee little ones). So I've got a couple manga, couple DVDs and some cels I think I'll sell (don't think anyone will WANT the cels I'm selling e.e;;; but it's worth a shot - I have one random Idomu cel I'm thinking I'll part with o_O anyone interested? I'll scan it later... Forte cels to scan :D). But my pay cheque should be okay, and my next one should be better (whee!) so it's not an "OMG I have NO MONEY @_@;;" sale. I need to send in my tax refund ^^; and I'll feel better *purr* lots of money there. But my biggest concern right now is Capital Health and the $149 bill they sent me for Health Care services I don't use (That's why I won't have a paycheque to spend on myself this week -_-;). I thought healthcare in Canada was FREE!?!?! nooooooo it costs a monthly fee e_e;;;;;;; a monthly fee I don't want to pay because I'm not sick, which means some other yahoo is using my $50 a month for his healthcare... I find flaws in that logic. But then again when I get hit with the bus and am dieing in the hospital... it might be nice to have >_>;; Bleh e_e; stupid debate.
